John Day, Assoc. AIA, Allied ASID, LEED

John's design talent, project experience and extensive knowledge of materials, furniture, finishes, and sustainable design as well as his professional ability to carefully manage projects make him uniquely prepared to lead the interiors department. His experience includes commercial and residential architecture and interior design for private residences from New England to Florida and California. John's prior commercial work includes clients such as the Boston Celtics, Fidelity, BMW North America, Volkswagen and Boston Sports Clubs.

Treffle LaFleche, AIA, LEED

As co-founder of LDa, Treff has achieved local and national recognition for his expertise in the merging of historic and contemporary aspects of New England residential and institutional architecture. Treff’s professional experience has focused on providing client focused and context sensitive design and project management services. He is a creative leader in a collaborative search for appropriate design solutions and has designed multiple residences to LEED certifications.

Kyle Sheffield, AIA, LEED BD+C

A native New Englander and an architect for over fifteen years, Kyle has completed numerous residential projects that have focused largely on designs that mediate between contextual New England architecture and the need for more diverse contemporary spatial relationships. He is a hands-on architect who believes in a highly collaborative process, and utilizes his strong design, leadership and communication abilities to ensure every detail is thoughtfully addressed to create a cohesive and timeless result.

Douglas E. Dick, AIA, LEED BD+C

As cofounder of LDa, Doug has over three decades of professional design and project management experience. In addition to his abilities as a designer, Doug is a skilled team builder and project leader. His architectural designs incorporate an artistic vision as well as environmental sustainability. In addition to dozens of private residences, Doug’s cultural/commercial design work includes projects for independent primary and secondary schools, private and public universities, and a variety of not-for-profit organizations.

Mike Waters, AIA

Michael is recognized for his expertise in working with design and construction teams on the realization of innovative building designs. His knowledge of building technology and construction combined with a passion for design bring important contributions to every project. Michael leads quality control efforts at LDa, pursuing the highest level of quality in design and documentation. He brings 30-years’ experience as an architect with a collaborative style to LDa staff as a senior mentor.

Tracy Andrade, PHR, SHRM-CP

Tracy is responsible for the complex day to day operations of the firm. Her major responsibilities include financial reporting, firm budgeting & planning, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management and all human resources tasks including payroll & employee benefits. In addition to the above, Tracy also works closely with each project manager to ensure project budget accountability. She has over 20 years of experience in this position in the A/E/C environment.
