The new layout opens the kitchen to the dining room and living room beyond, and connects to the rear stair and deck, creating a more logical path of travel and clear views. New cabinetry brings in much needed storage and a smarter layout for prep and cooking. Open shelving on the outside wall, and a simple color palette keeps the room open and airy, disguising it’s relatively small footprint. Patterned tile over the stove, modern lighting and a herringbone tile backsplash add personality.
