Lighthouse Bay

Lighthouse Bay

Orleans, MA

Set right on the ocean on the coast of Cape Cod, our clients fell in love with their new vacation home almost immediately, but knew that the structure itself needed more work.

Having previously worked with us before, LDa jumped right in to help them renovate and refresh the interior structure of their home, while making a few exterior changes as well. Wanting to reflect the lifestyle of the family, we helped reconfigure the overall floor plan to provide an open concept that would promote gathering-- no matter where you are in the house.

Inside, the finishes and furniture provide a fresh take on “nautical flair,” using soft sea greens, rich blues, and even pops of burnt orange to evoke a cozy, but still coastal space.

Outside, we wanted to make sure that the home maintained it’s traditional shingle-style facade, which led to us removing an old portico in the front of the house and replacing it with a pilaster surrounded door to make a grand entrance. In the rear of the house we removed a solarium and put wall-to-wall windows, bringing the ocean one step closer with an uninterrupted view. The result is a calm oasis that can host any family member or guest.
